Mr. Ramesh Sharma is an Executive Director at Legasis Services Pvt. Ltd. As a former Indian Police Service (IPS) officer with 35 years of distinguished service, he worked in multiple challenging environments, including investigations, security, intelligence and law enforcement at grassroots, state, national and international levels. Mr. Sharma superannuated as Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh, India.
As Director General of Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) / Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Mr. Sharma acquired expertise in the investigation of complex and high profile cases relating to Fraud, Corruption and Bribery.
Passionate about training, he is a well-established Speaker at various national and international conferences on subjects like Ethics, Frauds, Compliance, Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption, Intelligence, Corporate Counter-Espionage and Safe Cities.
He has co-authored a book, 'Combating Corruption in India', published by the Cambridge University Press in 2018 with foreword by Prof ( Dr.) Upendra Baxi, the internationally acclaimed jurist and constitutional expert.
Mr. Sharma also served as a Diplomat in the High Commission of India, Ottawa, Canada, where he successfully held charges of all the three sections of the Embassy viz the political, commercial and consular sections.
He acquired a Degree in Public Administration from the prestigious Ecole Nationale d'Administration (ENA), Paris/Strasbourg that is responsible for the training of créme de la créme and top echelons of the French Bureaucracy.
He is a recipient of the highest Police Awards of the country, namely the Prime Minister's Medal for Meritorious Service, the President's Medal for Distinguished Service and the Police (Special Duty) Medal, besides scores of commendations and appreciation letters both by the Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
Mr. Khade has over 35 years of experience in excise, custom and service tax matters. After working with excise department Mr. Khade has worked in corporate sector heading Indirect tax departments of Walchand Nagar Industries and Thermax. He also advises on projects and business structuring from indirect tax perspective.
Mr Pagar was Joint Labour Commissioner, Maharashtra prior to being an advisor to Legasis Partners. Using his experience over the years at the Labour Department, he has successfully advised clients on compliance and regulatory risks relating to Employment Laws. Mr Pagar stands out as a Subject matter Expert on all matters relating to labour and employment pan India.
Mr. Kumbhar recently retired from the Police Force as Deputy Inspector General of Police after a service of more than 30 years. During his time with the police force, he was recipient of numerous governmental felicitations such as President's medal for meritorious service, Deputy General's Insignia for excellent services and Internal Security medal amongst others. At Legasis, Mr. Kumbhar has successfully advised many clients on various matters including forensics and IPR rights protection.
Dr. Anita Shantaram founded Ethics Research and Consulting. She is the first woman to be certified as Grid Instructor in India after successfully completing the course in USA in 1994.
She has 2 decades of experience in training, teaching and socially responsible work. She has completed her PhD from BITS Pilani in the field of Business Ethics in 2015. 'Ethical Business Practices and Corporate Financial Performance': An Empirical Analysis, is the title of her thesis. She holds a post-graduation degree in Industrial Psychology from Bombay University. She is also certified as Leading Professional in Ethics and Compliance by ECI.
